About the Role:
Seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist with Blood Bank experience to support laboratory operations and ensure accurate blood bank testing in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform specialized Blood Bank laboratory testing
Ensure accurate processing of blood samples and laboratory data
Maintain compliance with NYSED and facility standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records
Support patient safety and quality laboratory practices
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
Minimum 1 year Blood Bank experience required
Valid NYSED Clinical Laboratory Technologist (092) license required
Associate’s Degree in Laboratory Technology required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Primary Source Verification required
BLS certification preferred
Full English proficiency required (Read, Write, Speak)
Strong attention to detail and laboratory skills
