**Job Description** **Who we're looking for:** The UW Medicine - Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology (DLMP) in Seattle, WA has a fantastic opportunity for a **Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) 2** with the **Transfusion Services Laboratory (TSL)** at Harborview Medical Center. TSL staff respond to trauma and massive bleeds throughout the hospital, including the emergency room and the operating rooms. We also provide blood components carried on Airlift NW helicopters and fixed wing aircraft, as well as on our Medic One ambulances across King County. CLTs are involved with inventory and preparation of blood components, placing blood orders, receiving and ordering patient samples, and answering phone calls. **Work schedule:** + 100% FTE + Monday - Friday with rotating weekends and holidays + mid-shift **What you'll contribute:** + Respond to Emergency, Operating Room and other clinical areas that require transfusion support with blood components. + Provide customer service and communication with patient care areas and blood center. Call product orders to floor.
