Job Summary
Technical Skills/Knowledge
• Maintains instrumentation and work area. • Maintains quality control and calibration functions. • Provides training and assesses competencies. • Consistently completes testing within established time frames. • Recognize and address issues within the department.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's degree and Medical Technology (MT) certification with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent. • Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988.
Experience
• Four (4) years of laboratory experience as an MLT/HT (internal CLS2); • OR Two (2) years of laboratory experience as a MT/HTL (internal CLS3) • (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)
Licensure/Certification
• Registered with ASCP (or eligible for registry) as a Medical Technologist or equivalent
Compensation/Benefits
$26.77-$43.71/hr depending on previous experience
Position Qualifies for $2.50/hr night shift differential
