DESCRIPTION:

The Department of Regional Schools & Instructional Programs at Nassau BOCES is seeking a part-time clinical instructor for nurse assisting, medical assisting,and physical therapy aide. The clinical instructor will be responsible for supervising and evaluating students in a nursing home facility or a hospital. While in the clinical setting, the instructor will ensure that students apply theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom to practical application.

LOCATION:

Various locations in Nassau County.

HOURS:

2.5 - 6 hours per day; 2 - 4 days per week (various start and end dates depending on program).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of industry experience.
  • NYS License as a Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist is highly preferred.
