Salary/Position Classification
$65,000+ commensurate with experience, 9-month contract, Exempt

This position will work in person on the University of North Dakota campus.
Purpose of Position
The mission of the College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD) is to provide excellent and collaborative education, scholarship and service to advance human well-being for all, with an emphasis on rural and underserved populations. The college consists of the departments of Nursing, Nutrition & Dietetics, and Social Work.
For this position, we are looking for a Clinical Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor to teach in our Undergraduate Nursing program.
The CNPD offers innovative online educational programs, a simulation laboratory and a supportive student environment for both face-to-face and distance learning.
The CNPD highly values diversity in our faculty, students and staff at all levels of instructional support.
This position requires an on-campus presence
Duties & Responsibilities
90% - Teaching will vary but may include:
• NURS 313 Clinical Practicum I • NURS 333 Clinical Practicum II • NURS 433 Clinical Practicum III • NURS 304 Pharmacology I Lab • NURS 334 Pharmacology II Lab
10% - Service to department, college and/or university
• 5% clinical mentorship program for new clinical track faculty • 5% to be determined with the department chair

Minimum Requirements
Masters degree (or higher) in nursing OR masters degree in another field with completion of Nursing Education Certificate OR bachelors degree in nursing with enrollment in masters of nursing education program with anticipated graduation within 1 year of hire
Unencumbered ND nursing license or eligible for licensure in ND
Two years of nursing practice
Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Nursing Doctoral degree in Nursing Teaching experience in an academic setting
