Job Description Part-time clinical adjunct nursing position for the NURSING program at the Fauquier campus. This position may require clinical or laboratory instruction. Schedules may include day evening or weekend hours in an off campus or on campus lab and/or clinical site. Only online applications are accepted.
Compensation and Benefits The minimum hourly rate for the position is 30.00 per hour however actual starting rate is commensurate with education and/or experience. The position is part time and as such cannot exceed 29 hours per week and is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies.
Nursing wage hourly rate schedule effective July 1, 2024 LPN: 30.00 Associates Degree: 40.32 Bachelors Degree: 43.03 Masters Degree: includes DDS MD DVS JD DPT 45.70 Doctorate: 48.39 Special Assignments: May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSAs Required Qualifications Demonstrated clinical experience in motherbaby or medicalsurgical nursing. Excellent communication skills. Ability to be a team player. Willingness to support the institution division and program goals to contribute to the success of the nursing program. Current unrestricted RN license in Virginia.
Additional Considerations Operation of a State Vehicle: No Supervises Employees: No Required Travel: Travel as per any required duties of the position such as to sites, campuses, and any training. Ability to cover assignments throughout the college service region as necessary for the job is required.
