Clinical Informatics Analyst Health Partners of Western Ohio

Monday - Friday Hours 8:00am-4:30pm, NO Weekends or Holidays Location: Remote/hybrid on site as needed at Health Partners Administration Building, Lima, Ohio

POSITION PURPOSE The Clinical Informatics Analyst serves as the liaison between clinical operations and information technology to optimize the use of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role supports clinical workflows, reporting, and data integrity within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment. The analyst will provide expertise in Greenway Intergy EHR/PM systems, assist with clinical system configuration, training, and quality improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Clinical Systems Support

  • Serve as the primary support resource for Greenway Intergy EHR and Practice Management modules.
  • Configure and maintain templates, order sets, clinical decision support tools, and workflow configurations.
  • Troubleshoot clinical application issues and collaborate with vendors or IT staff to resolve system problems.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features.
  • Actively monitors clinical help desk tickets and resolves tickets.

Workflow Optimization

  • Analyze clinical workflows and recommend system improvements to enhance provider efficiency and patient care.
  • Work closely with providers, nursing staff, and operational leadership to optimize EHR utilization.
  • Develop and maintain standardized documentation templates and clinical forms.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of clinical data captured in the EHR.

Training and User Support

  • Provide support to providers and clinical staff on Greenway Intergy workflows and best practices.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation.
  • Act as a super-user and subject matter expert for clinical systems.
  • Continually assesses the HPWO health records process for performance improvement opportunities in document management for both the receipt and transfer of information from various stakeholders.
  • Adheres to Health Partners of Western Ohios policies as well as state and federal regulatory guidelines surrounding the release of protected health information.
  • Serves as an active member of the IT Steering Committee and participates in quality improvement activities, including goal setting, process improvement, and reporting.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with other members of the health care team.
  • Participates in continuing education and professional growth opportunities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

  • Bachelors degree in health informatics, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.

CERTIFICATION

  • 3 years of experience with Greenway Intergy EHR/PM systems or other EHR system.
  • Knowledge of clinical workflows, EHR configuration, and healthcare data reporting.
  • Clinical background (RN, LPN, MA, or similar) preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

  • Successful completion of in-house training.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work is primarily sedentary, demanding sitting, walking, lifting, and bending. Those physical movements and the degree of mobility, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination commonly associated with duties in an office setting will be performed repetitively. This also includes bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, pulling, pushing, and walking.
