The University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville (UFCOM-J) is seeking a highly qualified board-certified Pediatric Clinical Geneticist in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Clinical Genetics. This is a full-time faculty non-tenure position at the Assistant Associate or Full Professor level, commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to help shape and expand a developing academic genetics program with strong institutional support and collaboration across the UF Health system.
We are seeking a candidate with expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of children and adults with genetic and metabolic conditions. Candidates with specialized training or interest in metabolic genetics are especially encouraged to apply.

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville is a dynamic academic program dedicated to advancing excellence in clinical care, education, research, and community service. The Division of Genetics plays an essential role in this mission, providing comprehensive evaluation and management of children and adults with genetic and metabolic disorders and serving as a regional resource for expertise in medical genetics.
The Division offers a broad scope of clinical services, including diagnostic assessments, metabolic management, and genetic counseling, with a strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration across specialties. Faculty within the Division are engaged in educational and scholarly activities, training the next generation of pediatricians, residents, and medical students in the principles and practice of genetics and genomics.
In partnership with the UF College of Medicine - Gainesville, the Division is working toward the establishment of Floridas fourth Newborn Screening Center, enhancing statewide access to early diagnosis and intervention for genetic and metabolic conditions.
