    Job Description:

    Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

    Location: AdventHealth East Orlando - 7727 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, FL 32822 and the new AdventHealth Lake Nona - 9975 Tavistock Lakes Blvd Ste 260, Orlando, FL 32827

    • Manages personnel by staffing and scheduling technicians to ensure optimal service delivery.
    • Oversees site operations and provides direction to others using knowledge and experience of technology and equipment.
    • Coaches and mentors technicians by providing feedback on performance and documentation practices.
    • Develops service strategies with a focus on continuous process improvement.
    • Manages Service Operations functions, including service contracts, resources, demand labor, demand parts, and inventory of shop supplies.
    • Answers questions and collaborates with others to identify and resolve technological and process problems.
    • Manages Joint Commission/DNV inspections, prioritizes open work orders, and ensures performance assurance inspections are documented.
    • Builds and maintains relationships with customers using interpersonal and conflict management skills.
    • Collaborates effectively with customers and vendors to develop mutually beneficial solutions.
    • Monitors each modality after setting financial and performance benchmarks.
    • Identifies and pursues opportunities for business entry and manages financial performance.
    • Motivates others through praise, recognition, and rewards.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications [Required]
    • Ability to manage day-to-day and long-term site operations [Required]
    • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop others [Required]
    • Ability to perform basic financial analysis and calculate budgets, revenue, and costs [Required]
    • Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills [Required]
    • Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English [Required]
    • Basic computer skills [Required]

    Education:
    • Bachelor's [Required]

    Field of Study:
    •Bachelor’s degree in related field

    Work Experience:
    •4+ years of biomedical, facilities or related experience [Required]

    Additional Information:
    • An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement: 
    - Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent technical or military training/experience;AND4+ years of biomedical, facilities or related experience;OR 
    - Associate's degree in related field or equivalent technical or military training/experience;AND6+ years of biomedical, facilities or related experience;OR 
    - 8+ years of experience working with medical equipment in a clinical engineering environmentAND 1+ year of managerial or leadership experience, preferably in a clinical engineering setting

    Licenses and Certifications:
    • Certified Biomedical Equipment Tech (CBET) [Preferred]
    • Driver's License (DL) [Required]

    Pay Range:

    $72,786.83 - $135,385.27
