Responsibilities:
  • The Clinical Education RN is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating education programs to support clinical staff competency, professional development, and regulatory compliance.
  • This role serves as a subject matter expert, mentor, and facilitator for nursing and allied health education across the organization, ensuring excellence in patient care through evidence-based practice and continuous learning
  • Maintain clinical competence and provide direct patient care by working clinical shifts as needed to maintain bedside expertise and ensure alignment with education with current clinical practice.
Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • Current and valid RN license in Texas.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • Enrolled in Masters of Nursing (MSN) program.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of recent clinical experience in acute care nursing.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

  • Advanced Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Experience in staff education, clinical instruction, or professional development.
  • Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC) or Clinical Education
