I. PURPOSE OF JOB:
To coordinate, develop and facilitate orientation and continuing education for all Surgical Services Associates in conjunction with providing OR nursing services
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Education for all Surgical Services Associates(OR, SDS, PAT, PACU and
anesthesia techs).
Demonstrates clinical proficiency and maintains knowledge base of hospital department and regulatory policies in order to serve as a clinical resource and mentor to the Surgical Services Associates
Actively participates in and supports departmental and organizational quality
initiatives and goals
