UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities:
The Clinical Educator RN carries out a plan of educational activities to enhance, promote, and maintain the standard of care within the hospital.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – BSN required
Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
Preferred Job Requirements:
Master’s degree in nursing
Minimum of two years of management/teaching experience
Familiarity with the organization and functions of other disciplines within the hospital
Minimum of five years of Acute Care clinical experience
