Summary:

The Clinical Education Specialist, Respiratory is responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs for respiratory therapists and interdisciplinary staff. This role ensures clinical competency, regulatory compliance, and professional development aligned with evidence-based practice, organizational goals, and standards from organizations such as American Association for Respiratory Care.

Education:

Associate's in Respiratory Therapy. Bachelor's preferred

Master's degree in Education, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)

Experience:

• 3-5 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience. Prior teaching, precepting, or educator experience preferred. Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., HealthStream) and simulation training

Licensure:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential - National Board for Respiratory Care

State licensure (as required)

Credential Essentials:

• Basic Life Support/Pediatric /Advanced Life Support - Requred
