JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: CLINICAL DIRECTOR
CLASSIFICATION CODE: EXEMPT FULL TIME
DEPARTMENT:MANGEMENT
REPORTS TO: CHIEF CLINICAL OFFICER
STATEMENT OF JOB:The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical department, including procedures, hiring, supervision, evaluation, scheduling, training, and adherence to Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS)/Tribal Regional Behavioral Health Authority (TRBHA) Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) and Indian Health Services (IHS) Scope of Work (SOW). Is responsible to provide and/or coordinate training as required by AHCCCS and/or credentialing and or licensing requirements of ABHS, the TRBHA and IHS. Collaborates with the Chief Clinical Officer and the Quality Management Administrator to evaluate, and as needed, develop strategies to improve, the clinical services of Apache Behavioral Health Services (ABHS) and other Tribal Mental Health Services. Assures the operation, supervision, integrity, administration, and quality of clinical services rendered at ABHS are satisfactory.
