Overview Provides nutritional care to patients through nutrition assessment and counseling. Care plans are developed with follow-up evaluation of intervention.
Qualifications Education/Licensure/Certification: • BS in Nutrition from an accredited college or university • Alabama license must be obtained upon employment • ADA registration must be obtained within six months of employment
Experience Food service experience in a high volume healthcare setting is preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities • Excellent communication and customer service skills are required • Must be knowledgeable of and able to follow the standards of federal, state, and regulatory agencies • Must be able to properly identify patients and maintain confidentiality
