Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Coordinator assists the Cardiopulmonary Department Director with activities that ensure delivery of qualify, safe and effective patient care. The Clinical Coordinator provides effective leadership and support to the Directory and Respiratory staff. What you will do in this role: Participate in all phases of the arterial blood gas laboratory, including responsibility of all necessary studies, QA/QI, PI testing, maintenance, reporting and competencies. You will utilize current research findings to support and improve Respiratory Therapy staff practice. In this role, you will collaborate with the Director to write and revise unit specific competency plans. You will identify educational needs of staff and assist with planning and conducting education classes. You will audit, report, and educate staff on documentation, meeting professional and JCAHO requirements. Your role will monitor and review the consistent completion of chart auditing. What qualifications you will need: BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEARS, NRP Active NBRC license Current state license in Tennessee with ABG endorsement Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Care, BS preferred 3-5 years experience Strong interpersonal/communication skills Desire to pursue future leadership roles Benefits TriStar Summit Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
