Position Summary
The Clinical Coordinator III (RN) provides patient care, education, and coordination for the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) team within the Division of Medical Hematology/Oncology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. The RN coordinates all aspects of the transplantation process for selected candidates and serves as a liaison between departments involved in patient care.
This role ensures adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory and certification requirements, and supports data collection and reporting activities. The Clinical Coordinator III reports directly to the Outpatient Oncology Nursing Directors and works in close collaboration with the NYP BMT & Cellular Therapy Program Manager.

Medical clearance and participation in the medical surveillance program:
Direct patient contact and/or interaction with human research subjects.
Use of N-95 respirator as needed.
Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
Successful completion of all required compliance and systems training.
