Job Summary
The School of Aviation and Military Sciences seeks a dedicated and innovative scholar-practitioner to join our faculty. The successful candidate will contribute to a dynamic learning environment by delivering high-quality instruction, maintaining an active research agenda in aviation management, and providing meaningful service to the university and the broader aviation industry.

Duties/Responsibilities
Applied Teaching and Mentorship
Instruction: Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in core aviation management areas such as Airline Operations, Airport Management, Airline Management, Aviation Strategic Management, and other related topic
Course Design: Develop and update curricula to reflect emerging technologies (e.g., AI/Machine Learning in aviation) and current FAA or international regulatory standards.
Format Flexibility: Provide instruction across various platforms, including traditional classrooms, hybrid models, and online learning management systems.
Workload: Typically involves a teaching load of 24 credit hours per academic year (4 courses per semester).
Industry Engagement and Professional Service
External Liaison: Act as the department's primary point of contact for industry advisory boards and corporate partners.
Professional Dissemination: While traditional research is not required, clinical faculty are expected to contribute to professional journals, trade publications, or industry conferences.
Program Assessment: Lead efforts to ensure the program meets rigorous industry standards.
Service and Professional Engagement
University Service: Participate in departmental, college, and university-level committees, as well as student recruitment and retention activities.
Manage the University's participation in the FAA Air Traffic Control Collegiate Training Initiative. (AT-CTI)
Advising: Provide academic and career mentoring to undergraduate Aviation Management majors.
Industry Liaison: Foster partnerships with aviation organizations, airports, and airlines to facilitate student internships and collaborative projects.
