Department Summary:

Boston Children's Hospital (BCH) Department of Radiology, provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient imaging services. Radiology Imaging Modalities include Magnetic Resonance (MRI), Computerized Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology (Fluoroscopy and X-ray), Ultrasound.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing routine assistive care to patients pre and post imaging procedures, for both ambulatory and inpatients, according to specific needs of the patient and unit.
  • Providing general support for clinical operations including maintaining, monitoring and ordering of supplies and equipment.
  • Maintaining safety of work area and ensuring area is compliant with regulatory and hospital policies.
  • The ability to work 30 hours per week, 3 - 10 hour shifts, rotating days/evenings Monday to Friday (no nights, weekends, or holidays). Staggered shifts (start as early as 6AM, last shift ends at 6:30PM)
  • Eligible for full time benefits

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • 1 year CA experience, CNA certification, or Nursing Student with at least one clinical rotation.
  • CA/CNA certification preferred.
  • 1 year Clinical Assistant or related experience preferred. Inpatient pediatric or peri-operative experience preferred.
  • Good communication and computer skills; ability to work on a team.

NOTE: This is a permanent position and we are unable consider temporary hires, for example, summer only.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
