Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawaiis only maternity newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawaiis leader in the care of women, infants, and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6000 babies a year and is also a medical teaching and research facility.
Specialty services for patients throughout Hawaii and the Pacific Region include:

The Mother Baby Care Unit offers specialized care for postpartum, teen to adult women, and normal newborns. Care is also provided to post-GYN surgical women. Our highly trained and caring staff provides education to the entire family during and after the pregnancy, as well as IV therapy, fetal monitoring, diabetes education, monitoring of patients requiring bed rest for premature delivery, post-surgical C-section, regular deliveries, and postpartum complications, and a variety of other services.
The Mother Baby Care Unit provides support to mothers and their newborns in an atmosphere that promotes bonding of the family unit.
As the Clinical Assistant, you will join the team of clinical professionals providing exceptional health care services at Kapi'olani. In this role, you will help to perform a variety of nursing and health care procedures, as well as certain clerical services. We are looking for someone helpful and dedicated with a fine-tuned sense of responsibility, the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'is people.

• One year of clinical experience • OR a successful completion of HPH Nurse Aide Program • Current Hawaii CNA certificate • One year clerical experience in a healthcare setting
