Boston Children's Hospital and Milford Regional Medical Center have been collaborating for more than 10 years to deliver best-in-class pediatric care. Boston Children’s Physicians Milford is an office practice located on the campus of Milford Regional Medical Center offering pediatric specialty services in the following specialties: allergy and immunology, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, general surgery, and neurology.
Key responsibilities:
- Working with interdisciplinary team including other clinical assistants, physicians, advanced practice providers, social workers, child life specialist and administrative staff, etc.
- Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions.
- Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse.
- Answering, screening and routing telephone calls and performing general office support tasks as needed.
- Assisting clinician during examinations (i.e. obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic).
- Restocking supplies and equipment as needed.
- Some administrative duties, including checking in of patients and scheduling.
- M-F, 7a-530p, with flexibility on start and end times.
Minimum qualifications:
Education:- Preferred 1-year CA experience, CNA certification, or Nursing Student with at least one clinical rotation. Would consider pre-PA or pre -med candidates with no direct patient care experience.
Experience:- A HS Diploma or equivalent.
