Description The University of New England College of Dental Medicine (UNE CDM) invites applications for full-time 1.0 FTE 12-month clinical track positions in Prosthodontics at the Assistant Clinical Professor, Associate Clinical Professor, or Clinical Professor rank, dependent upon experience and credentials. Located on UNEs Portland Campus for the Health Sciences, UNE CDM is the only dental school in a region where access to quality oral healthcare is a persistent challenge, especially in rural areas. Responsibilities The Prosthodontics faculty member will serve in the Department of Restorative & Clinical Sciences. Core responsibilities will include:

• Didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction • Curriculum development • Mentoring pre-doctoral students • After-hours emergency call coverage by rotation • Participation in college, university, and community service

Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Interviews of qualified candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Qualifications Qualified candidates must possess a D.D.S., D.M.D., or international equivalent degree and have successfully completed the NBDE Parts I & II or the INBDE. By the position start date, the candidate must have completed a CODA-accredited graduate program in Prosthodontics, be Board Certified or eligible for Board Certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, and have active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure.
