About the role:

We are seeking a Clinical Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Nursing Department and its leadership team while contributing to patient care both directly and indirectly. This role is responsible for preparing correspondence, maintaining reports and records, supporting patient order management, and coordinating administrative activities that help ensure smooth clinical operations.

The Clinical Administrative Assistant supports communication across the organization, assists with patient discharge and order reconciliation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR), and helps manage meetings, projects, and employee health records. This position works closely with nursing leadership and other departments to support clinical workflows, documentation accuracy, and operational efficiency.


We're looking for someone who has:

  • One year certificate from a college or technical school, or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience required
  • Licensed or certified medical professional
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple administrative priorities
  • Ability to prepare, update, and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and documentation
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with nursing leadership, providers, and staff
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and other Office programs

Highly preferred candidates also have:

  • Experience supporting nursing leadership or clinical management teams
  • Experience working within an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Experience coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes
  • Familiarity with patient order management, cancellations, or discharge workflows
  • Experience maintaining employee health or files
