POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinic RN Hospital based is to be fully engaged in providing Quality/No Harm, Customer
Experience, and Stewardship by providing exercise assessment, treatment planning, and cardiac
rhythm evaluation. Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Clinic RN oversees prescribed
cardiac rehabilitation treatment. The Clinic RN is responsible, as a member of a multi-disciplinary team,
for promoting optimal outcomes. The Clinic RN demonstrates an understanding of the philosophy of
quality-driven, patient-centered care. Along with the Exercise Physiologist, the Clinic RN will
continuously monitor patients for exercise tolerance and adverse response to exercise.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITES
supervising and/or referring physician.
accepted standards of practice, i.e., FL Practice Act, AACVPR Guidelines, Joint Commission,
and Medicare.
reassessment outcomes, addressing clinical and behavioral data in the medical record.
the medical director or referring physician every thirty (30) days for the duration of the program.
rehabilitation outcomes by demonstrating independent judgment and anticipating the needs of
patients.
contributing to the development of the Individualized Treatment Plan with team members.

Work Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
o American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Completion
Card prior to start date and maintained.
o AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card
within ninety (90) days of start date and maintained.
o Knowledge of Cardiovascular interventions.
o Cardiac Telemetry/ECG.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) within 90 days and maintained.
o Primary Prevention Techniques.
o Medications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
