Website:     Relocation offered   This Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is per diem. Northern Nevada Medical Center is looking for a dynamic Operating Room Registered Nurse! You will provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in the OR arena. You will address the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical and Pain Center environment. This position communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory. Participates in performance improvement activities. Assesses operating room / procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met. Demonstrates supportive behaviors necessary for performing bedside report using IMAP & SBAR (both accomplished in partnership with patient inside room) Takes appropriate actions and documents in response to manifested anxiety or distress. Requests Social Service/Pastoral Care, as appropriate.
