We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Clinic Nurse Manager to oversee and elevate the nursing care provided at our clinic. As a Clinic Nurse Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our mission, leading a dedicated team and ensuring our clinic operations run smoothly and effectively. Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide day-to-day supervision and support to Clinic Charge Nurses. Lead and manage nursing teams independently and in collaboration with the Director of Clinics and Participant Care Services.
- Quality Improvement: Drive quality improvement initiatives across all clinic sites and participate actively in quality processes, including medication error follow-ups.
- Clinical Oversight: Ensure seamless flow of clinical care, assist in developing policies and procedures, and maintain audit-ready standards.
- Team Development: Support the recruitment, orientation, and ongoing development of Charge Nurses. Foster a cohesive team environment and educate staff on new processes and policies.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee clinic inventory, equipment, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with organizational standards.
What We’re Looking For:- Experience: Minimum of two years as a Charge Nurse or equivalent leadership experience.
- Education: RN Nursing Diploma or Degree from an accredited School of Nursing or University, with current Michigan licensure.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills. Competency in medical EMR documentation and ability to educate and empower others.
- Traits: Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion.
Specific Requirements:- Certifications: Current CPR certification by AHA or willingness to obtain.
- Values: Demonstrates compassion, integrity, teamwork, and excellence in all aspects of work.
- Additional: Reliable transportation, valid Michigan driver’s license, and car insurance. Must be fully vaccinated against communicable diseases.
Physical and Work Environment:- Environment: Work in a clinic setting with frequent interruptions. May involve exposure to infectious waste and hazardous conditions.
- Physical Demands: Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress, lift up to twenty pounds, and stand or sit for extended periods.
Additional Requirements: - Must be fully vaccinated or willing to become vaccinated against:
Influenza, MMR, Varicella, Tdap/Td, COVID-19, and Hepatitis B - Must meet CMS competency standards prior to working independently
- Comfortable working in varied home environments and all weather conditions
