At Geriatric Specialty Care of Reno, we're expanding our model for caring for seniors that provides high-quality, comprehensive in-home healthcare services to seniors all across Northern Nevada. From private residences and long-term care to assisted living facilities, our team of nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, and care providers visit patients where they're most comfortable—creating a seamless, convenient, and personalized process for seniors and their caretakers.
The Opportunity: As a Medical Assistant at Geriatric Specialty Care (our Reno clinic), you will support our primary care providers in delivering quality care to patients at our clinic and occasionally to patients in senior living communities. Your role will involve both clinical (back office) and administrative (front office) tasks, ensuring smooth clinic operations and a positive care experience for patients and coworkers. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and a compassionate approach when working with patients and their caregivers.
