Job Overview:
The Clinical Office Assistant is responsible for providing indirect care, in a virtual atmosphere, under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider based on their scope of training to patients who present with urgent, or potential health problems, as well as preventive care. Services provided by the Clinic Medical Assistant will include but not limited to patient scheduling, assisting with appointment follow up calls, documentation of activities and patient/family education, medication prior authorizations, assisting with throughput. Must be able to multi-task and work independently. The Clinical Office Assistant will provide care utilizing established principles and ethical standards as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess. This is a hybrid remote position. Must be available Monday-Friday 0800-1600.
