What You'll Be Doing:
- You'll be the welcoming face and listening ear, getting patients ready for their appointments, taking their vitals.
- You'll be assisting our amazing providers with exams, procedures, and making sure everything runs smooth.
- You'll be administering injections, immunizations, and other medications, making sure our patients are feeling their best.
- You'll be collecting and processing specimens with precision, because every little detail matters.
- You'll be diving into our electronic inbox, expertly triaging messages, processing prescription refills, routing patient questions, and generally making sure no digital stone is left unturned.
- Answering patient calls, providing education, and offering support with a compassionate and helpful demeanor, whether it's face-to-face or virtually.
CHI Health requires that ALL Medical Assistants must be a graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
- Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
