  • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
    • Responsible for supervising the staff and daily operations of the front office of a clinic. Acts as a liaison between the office and other division clinics, clinical areas and SHS departments such as billing.
  • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    • SHS Surgical Specialists provide general, vascular, thoracic, breast and minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures.
  • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • One (1) of the following required:
      • Three (3) years experience in a healthcare setting.
      • Associate's degree plus one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting.
    • Experience or training in the following required:
      • Medical/insurance terminology.
      • ICD-9/10 and CPT coding.
      • Computer applications.
    • One (1) year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
