Responsibilities

The Clinic Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day to day operations of the Clinic. This individual will manage clinic flow, coordinate volunteers, support patient intake, and serve as a key point of contact for patients, providers, and community partners.

About Us

The St. Clare Health Mission of Monroe County is a volunteer-run free health clinic dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality care to underserved and uninsured members of our community. We rely on compassionate volunteers and staff to deliver patient-centered services in a respectful and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily clinic operations, including scheduling and patient flow
  • Recruit, schedule, and support volunteers (clinical and non-clinical)
  • Oversee patient intake, registration, and documentation processes
  • Ensure compliance with clinic policies, confidentiality standards, and safety procedures
  • Maintain Finance Records
  • Maintain clinic's legal compliances with appropriate State and Federal regulators
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during clinic hours for staff, volunteers, and patients
  • Maintain clinic supplies and coordinate inventory needs
  • Assist with reporting, data tracking, and basic administrative tasks
  • Support outreach efforts and community engagement initiatives
  • Supervise clinic's part-time community health worker

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or volunteer coordination (3+ years preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work independently without daily direct supervision
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, scheduling tools)
