Sigma Inc. is seeking an experienced Clinic Coordinator to join a leading healthcare organization in Boston, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for healthcare administrative professionals with experience in patient scheduling, medical records, clinical coordination, and EPIC EMR to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details

  • Job Title: Clinic Coordinator
  • Location: Boston, MA
  • Duration: 4-Month Contract
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Work Setting: Onsite
  • EMR: EPIC experience or training is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient appointments and clinical services with physicians, nurses, and medical support staff.
  • Schedule and manage provider calendars while ensuring efficient clinic operations.
  • Maintain and update patient medical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Collect and verify patient medical histories and demographic information.
  • Educate patients regarding treatments, medications, appointments, and follow-up instructions.
  • Coordinate receipt and review of laboratory results, diagnostic testing, and imaging reports.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, laboratories, and other healthcare departments.
  • Assist with clinic workflow improvements and recommend process enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Clinic Coordinator, Medical Secretary, Patient Services Coordinator, Medical Receptionist, Medical Office Assistant, or Healthcare Administrative Assistant preferred.
  • Experience scheduling patient appointments in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical office procedures.
  • Experience maintaining electronic medical records (EMR).
  • EPIC EMR experience or EPIC training is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
