HJF is seeking a Clinic Assistant II to perform day-to-day administrative and certain clinical duties to a medical clinic, hospital unit or clinical trials program under the direction of medical staff. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood and administering medications as directed by physician.
This position will be in support of Murtha Cancer Center Research Program (MCCRP) and Center for Prostate Disease Research (CPDR), USU Walter Reed Surgery.
The CPDR is an interdisciplinary translational cancer research program of the USU Department of Surgery, the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), and the Murtha Cancer Center Research Program (MCCRP). CPDR is a Department of Defense designated research and clinical care center established by the U.S. Congress in 1991 to care for military service members and their families diagnosed with prostate cancer and prostate-related disease. The mission of the CPDR is to conduct state-of-the-art clinical, epidemiologic, and biomedical translational research with an emphasis on precision medicine to enhance the readiness of active-duty personnel in conjunction with the continuum of medical care for military retirees and beneficiaries. The CPDR also enriches the training of the next generation of physicians/scientists who directly benefit the quality, outcomes, and stability of the military health care delivery system.
