Location: Augusta, ME (100% Onsite)
Pay: $30/hr

I’m currently hiring for a Client Technologies Specialist 1 supporting the Office of Information Technology in Maine. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong desktop support experience who enjoys working hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

Contract: July 1, 2026 – November 1, 2026 (possible extension)
Travel: Local travel required (mileage reimbursed)

Top Skills:

• Desktop support experience
• Strong communication (written & verbal)
• Inventory management experience
• Experience working with State of Maine (preferred)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide onsite desktop and technical support
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computers and peripherals
• Support software upgrades, patches, and virus protection
• Manage inventory and lifecycle of IT equipment
• Coordinate new hardware/software installations
• Act as a point of contact for technology support and outages
• Assist with training, documentation, and system improvements

Requirements:

• Candidates must be within 1 hour of Augusta, ME
• Must be comfortable using personal vehicle for local travel
• Background check + fingerprinting required
