Job Summary:

Exciting new opportunity to start and to join an innovative, community-based behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disabilities services organization located in South Georgia.  Georgia Pines Community Service Board is a public, not-for-profit organization with an annual budget of $25M and a diverse workforce of 300 direct-care and support staff.  We provide services to 6 rural counties with several locations. We strive to provide the highest quality, evidence-based services in the least restrictive settings. 

Georgia Pines Robert's Place program is currently seeking a real leader, someone who has the passion, commitment, talent, and ability to work collaboratively with their peers to continue to advance the mission and vision of the organization. 

The selected applicant will have the pleasure of assisting with daily living activities in a daytime non-residential facility.  Observes and monitors individuals' behavior and charts observations and incidents.  Provides training of basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills to individuals in a facility, residence, group home, workshop, or supported employment environment.  May assist with meal preparation, ensuring or encouraging individual group activity, providing transportation, and/or limited case management.  Will perform lead worker functions to subordinate workers.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED AND  Two years of job-related experience providing social or direct care services to groups of special needs individuals in a human service setting OR One year of experience at the lower level (Client Support Worker 2).

Type of Recruitment:
