Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Client Service Specialist to join our Currency Administration team.

Position Summary:

As a Client Service Specialist within our Currency Administration division, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day implementation and client support for Currency Administration mandates. You will be required to have a thorough understanding of the CA products, be the local point of client contact and assist with multiple other functions related to business development.

Responsibilities include:

Product Specialist

  • Oversee implementation of Currency Administration client mandates
  • Actively participate in external product discussions and establish direct relationships with local client sponsors
  • Document and adhere to all operational processes
  • Take part in broader BBH Foreign Exchange business meetings to strengthen FX knowledge
  • Participate in regular team meetings to provide updates on local market developments and assist in developing broader business objectives

Relationship Management

  • Manage CA client relationships, responding to all product inquiries and communicate any changes to our product offering     
  • Coordinate with Markets Sales and RM's to participate in client meetings as a subject matter expert
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and business contacts in FX, Custody, Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency

Candidate Qualifications include:

  • Bachelors degree in finance, economics or related discipline required
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of BBH products, services and practices preferred
  • Experience with FX Hedging programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations
  • Fund Accounting background and a detailed familiarity with securities and portfolio valuation practices and timelines
  • Demonstrated track record of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage many tasks across a number of clients simultaneously

Salary Range

$65,000 - $90,000 base salary + annual target bonus

BBH and its affiliates' compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
