    Client Service Specialist  

     

    Location(s):  Columbus: 7650 Rivers Edge Dr., Suite 250, Columbus, OH 43235 

     

    Role Type:  Full-time,37.5 hours 

     

    Salary: $40.37 per hour 

     

    Summary:  

    The Client Service Specialist provides high-quality service and operational support to clients and advisors by responding to client needs, supporting account transactions, preparing client materials, maintainingaccurate records, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and compliant completion of requests. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a client-first approach to help deliver a consistent, professional, and responsive client experience. 

     

    Education Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s degree or coursework in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field preferred.High school diploma or GED .  

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering responsive, high-quality service and proactively addressing client financial needs. 

    • Process account transactions including new account openings, fund purchases and redemptions, asset transfers, and beneficiary changes while maintainingaccurate documentation 

    • Respond to client inquiries regarding account balances, fund performance, product features, and transaction status, escalating complex matters to the appropriate advisor 

    • Prepare and organize client meeting materials, including portfolio summaries, fund fact sheets, and prospectus documents to support advisor consultations 

    • Coordinate with internal teamsto resolve service issues, process paperwork, and ensure timely completion of client requests 

    • Maintain up-to-date client recordsand ensure all documentation meets firm and regulatory compliance standards 

    • Provide essential administrative support, including appointment scheduling, and supporting daily office operations. 

     

    Basic Requirements: 

    • FINRA Series 6 and SIE licenses ; Series 63 preferred 

    • 1-3 years of experience in financial services, client service, or related field 

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset 

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software 

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 

    • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
