The Opportunity:
Provide support to clients for an assigned book of business. In this role, this individual will collaborate with internal resources as needed to ensure client needs are producing a positive experience and client retention. Book of business may vary based on the complexity and number of accounts in the book.
In This Role You Will Execute On:
- Serve as the primary service contact to clients for a low to moderately complex assigned book of business. This includes oversight of all client servicing needs, team engagement, responsiveness, deadlines and escalation needs.
- Onboard new clients in collaboration with internal team to ensure thorough and accurate information needed to meet agency standards.
- Manage client renewal process ensuring all necessary activities are completed and meet appropriate timing and quality standards, collaborating with the internal team in our agency management system (Epic).
- Lead and participate in ongoing relationship development with clients, carrier partners, resources and internal teams and stakeholders to strengthen relationships with the Hylant team and promote long term partnerships.
- Support business growth through account rounding efforts; assess business and human capital to identify risks or gaps in coverage. Collaborate with internal specialty teams to develop and present recommendations to clients.
- Serve as a back-up at all support levels as needed.
- Lead Client Engagement Strategy (CES) for assigned clients, ensuring all appropriate internal team members are included.
- Responsible for educating clients on all compliance requirements in partnership with our Compliance Resource Group as appropriate.
- Maintain and grow insurance knowledge through education opportunities
- Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
In This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution, preferably in business, insurance, risk management or similar field of study. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- Three (3) or more years of relevant insurance experience.
- Active Life & Health License or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, One Note and Outlook)
- Familiarity with agency management system (Applied EPIC preferred)
- Demonstrated customer service mindset with both internal and external customers
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Oral and written communication skills, including in person and virtual presentation skills
- Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment
- Occasional need for schedule flexibility
- Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
