Overview:

The Client Service Leader is responsible for leading a team of client service managers while actively participating in client service delivery. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership, team development, and direct client interaction to ensure the highest level of service and satisfaction.  This role is pivotal in ensuring Gallagher's commitment to delivering exceptional client service and fostering a culture of excellence within the team. The Client Service Leader is expected to lead by example, demonstrating both strategic vision and hands-on expertise.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of client service professionals to achieve departmental goals.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
    • Identify training and development needs and facilitate appropriate learning opportunities.
  • Client Service Delivery:
    • Actively engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
    • Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
    • Resolve complex client issues and escalations promptly and effectively.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive risk management strategies.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement client service strategies that align with Gallagher's business objectives.
    • Monitor industry trends and adjust service offerings to meet evolving client needs.
    • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Optimize processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
    • Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and improve client outcomes.
  • Communication and Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
    • Communicate effectively with clients to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
    • Represent Gallagher at industry events and networking opportunities.

 

About you:

Required:

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 10+ years client service and/or claims management experience. 1+ years supervisory experience. Life & Health licensing as required.

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in client service within the insurance industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Compensation and benefits:

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
