    Client Consulting Director

    As a CBRE Client Consulting Director, you will lead consulting services to several high-profile groups of corporate real estate clients. You will also guide the consulting business in multiple geographic regions. This job is part of the Client Consulting function. They are responsible for Advisory services in relation to real estate operations and investments.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Building real estate strategies and consulting for large-size clients.
    • Delivering strategies with assigned clients. Assisting with regional portfolio strategic initiatives.
    • Aligning business direction and vision with senior management. Conducting strategic portfolio planning with stakeholders.
    • Monitoring organizational performance and reporting on data collected.
    • Evaluating space rationalization for specific client properties and providing solutions as needed.
    • Developing complex strategies to reduce costs for clients.
    • Managing consolidation reviews and transactions with clients.
    • Presenting reports and studies on location, labor, and retail on properties to executive management.
    • Gaining an in-depth understanding of the client's business. Ensuring that property and location strategies align with the business's strategic direction.
    • Contributing expert commercial and financial knowledge during strategy development and presentations.
    • Providing formal supervision to employees. Monitoring the training and development of staff. Conducting performance evaluations and coaching. Overseeing the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
    • Coordinating and managing the team's daily activities. Establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff. Setting and tracking staff and department deadlines. Mentoring and coaching as needed.
    • Applying a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
    • Leading by example and modeling behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuading managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiating with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
    • Identifying and solving multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
    • Significantly improving and changing existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.

    Requirements include:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
    • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
    • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
    • Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
    • Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
