With over 20 years of specialty and over a decade of experience in emergency medicine, Metropolitan Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Service (MVSES) provides exceptional veterinary care throughout the large Louisville area, state of Kentucky and southern Indiana.

What it's like to be a Client Care Specialists/Receptionist at MVSES

As a new Full-Time Client Care Specialist/Receptionist at Metropolitan Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Service, you can expect an engaging and dynamic work environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include greeting clients warmly as they enter our veterinary office, managing incoming calls, and scheduling appointments with precision to ensure optimal client care. You will assist in the seamless flow of operations, processing patient records, and providing detailed information to clients about our services. Your shift will include 4 ten-hour shifts including Wednesday and Thursday, 2 pm - 12 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 8 am - 6 pm, providing you the opportunity to make a significant impact during those critical hours.

Expect to collaborate closely with veterinarians and support staff, ensuring that each pet receives the attention it deserves. Additionally, you will handle client inquiries with empathy and professionalism, creating a comforting atmosphere for pet owners during stressful times. This exciting role is designed to hone your skills in client care and deepen your passion for animal health.

Experience with phone triage and familiarity with multi-extension phone systems are critical, as you’ll be managing incoming calls with competence and empathy.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
