As a Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding companies through post-acquisition accounting activities, ensuring compliance and efficiency while fostering strong client relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead post-close accounting engagements for mergers and acquisitions.
    • Prepare opening balance sheet adjustments and purchase accounting schedules in line with U.S. GAAP.
    • Manage Purchase Price Accounting (PPA) and Net Working Capital (NWC) true-ups.
    • Provide technical accounting guidance on revenue recognition, lease accounting, and inventory accounting.
    • Oversee complex financial reporting and assist clients in navigating accounting matters.
    • Drive accounting systems implementations and workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Cultivate strong client partnerships, delivering strategic accounting support.
    • Mentor junior team members and oversee quality in accounting deliverables.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • 5–8+ years of relevant accounting experience.
    • In-depth expertise in post-close accounting and M&A integration.
    • Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 606.
    • Proficiency with accounting platforms such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, or similar systems.
    • Exceptional client-facing communication and leadership abilities.

    Preferred

    • Experience in transaction advisory or client accounting services.
    • Comprehensive understanding of private company accounting operations.
    • Proven ability to lead intricate accounting projects effectively.
