Our client, a dedicated public service organization in the local government sector, is seeking a Clerk/Treasurer to join their team. As a Clerk/Treasurer, you will be an integral part of the administrative and financial operations supporting the community and municipal functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to public service excellence, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Clerk/Treasurer

Location: Superior, WY

Pay Range: $19/hr

Shift: 7:30am-5pm M-TH

What's the Job?

  • Manage and oversee municipal financial records, including budgets, accounts payable, and receivable.
  • Prepare financial reports and present them to the governing body and community stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of municipal proceedings and official documents.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

  • Experience in municipal or public sector financial management preferred.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of local government operations and financial regulations.
