Responsibilities

Position Overview

• Job Title: Healthcare Administrative Clerk
• Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (2 to 3 days per week)
• Location: Anaheim, CA (Hybrid; onsite onboarding required initially)
• Duration: Contract position through October 31, 2026

• Make high-quality direct courtesy calls to patients to confirm and acknowledge receipt of incoming surgical orders.
• Log, update, and route patient documentation inside Health Connect (Epic) telephone encounters.
• Pull, review, and clear high-volume department voicemail logs.
• Manage, format, and route structured reports accurately across various medical pods.
• Work under the guidance of a team lead to manage daily assignments and schedules.

• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience within the healthcare industry.
• Certification: Must hold an active, unexpired Medical Terminology Certification.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Epic/Health Connect systems is highly desirable.
• Typing Speed: Ability to type at least 40 WPM with high accuracy (assessment required).
• Competencies: Outstanding customer service skills and an aptitude for handling medical outreach queues.
