The salary for this position is paid with federal funds. Federally funded positions are supplemental and therefore subject to federal funds.

ROLE AND PURPOSE:

The Clerk for Family Engagement provides administrative assistance to the Family Engagement Specialist funded under Title I.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution
  • Some college (preferred)

Experience:

  • Three years' experience in office environments
  • Customer service skills
  • Computer skills to include TEAMS, Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred,
  • Ability to organize, manage, time, and prioritize duties
  • Ability to work well with peers, the public, families and children

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

I. ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:

  • Perform routine office duties and
  • Receive and manage all calls for the family engagement Title I-funded team
  • Operate and help maintain equipment, such as duplicating, laminating, audio-visual, and translation equipment
  • Maintain Fixed Assets Records for Family Engagement, Title I
  • Track and maintain the budget for Family Engagement, Title
  • Create requisitions, track purchases, warehouse, and print shop Receive and distribute materials and supplies
  • Execute all purchases for Title I-funded personnel in accordance with established AISD policies and procedures.
  • Provide support to the Family Engagement Specialist, Title
  • Manage and input information on the District web page family engagement
  • Act as a resource and ongoing support for campus family engagement liaisons
  • Coordinate and reserve room requests for trainings, meetings, and events
  • Provide translation support for memos, letters, and other documents
  • Pick up and distribute supply orders from the local vendor

II. TITLE I PROGRAM COMPLIANCE:

  • Collect and maintain family engagement records to ensure compliance with ESSA, Title I, and Part A
  • Help with maintaining records related to attendance and
  • Follow district procedures for expending Title I budget

III . PROFESSIONAL GROWTH:

  • Remain knowledgeable about district systems and procedures; seek opportunities to expand skills related to job function by attending a variety of professional development.

IV. MISCELLANEOUS:

  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the
