Requirements

• Zero to one year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work in a clean-room environment
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Availability for overtime
• Willingness to cross-train and help in other areas
• Ability to recognize when additional training is needed

Job Duties

• Follow route sheets and customer specifications
• Unwrap, clean, wash, and rewrap optical components
• Adjust equipment for standard parts
• Cut plastics and shields
• Inspect tooling before use
• Clean and foil machines
• Identify and report nonconforming products
• Complete production documentation
• Review upcoming production schedules
• Organize work areas to maintain production flow
• Care for assigned tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean work area
• Suggest process improvements
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What You Will Do

As a Cleaning Technician you will clean and maintain assigned work areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, emptying waste containers, restocking supplies, and performing routine facility upkeep. You will help maintain safe, organized, and sanitary environments while following established cleaning procedures and workplace safety standards.

A Cleaning Technician maintains the cleanliness and appearance of facilities through routine cleaning, sanitation, and general custodial services. This role requires consistency, reliability, and a commitment to providing safe environments for others.

The Cleaning Technician supports building operations by helping maintain clean workspaces, common areas, and facility equipment while following established cleaning procedures. Attention to detail helps ensure high standards are maintained.
