HireLevel is hiring Industrial Cleaners in Evansville, IN.
The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and general upkeep of production areas, equipment, and facility grounds. This role supports a safe, efficient manufacturing environment through routine cleaning, painting, waste handling, and basic facilities maintenance tasks. The Industrial Facilities Technician works independently and collaboratively to ensure production areas meet safety, operational, and appearance standards.

Shift: All Shifts
Pay: $15 - $22/hr.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of production floors, walls, equipment, and work areas
- Operate floor-cleaning equipment and perform sweeping and mopping as required
- Collect and properly dispose of trash and waste throughout the facility, including scheduled hopper pickups
- Inspect exterior grounds on a routine basis and report litter, hazards, or appearance issues
- Perform painting tasks as needed (walkways, railings, floors, 7S items, equipment markings)
- Monitor, empty, and maintain dust collectors
- Replace and stage recycling receptacles when full
- Maintain oil and material catch cans at designated equipment
- Stock supplies at mixer stations (gloves, dust masks, tape, etc.)
- Clean returnable drum plates as required
- Assist with upkeep of mixer and drum goods areas
- Safely operate a forklift when necessary
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding facility needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager

Education & Experience
- Education: High School Diploma required
- Experience: Industrial cleaning and/or facilities maintenance experience preferred; manufacturing environment experience a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs frequently and over 60 lbs occasionally
- Prolonged standing, walking, and movement throughout the facility
- Climbing, balancing, crawling, crouching, and handling large items
- Fine motor control for cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Ability to maintain visual focus and mental concentration
