Cleaner & Contents Technician

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is hiring a Cleaner & Contents Technician on behalf of a premier restoration company in the Pacific Northwest. This is a full-time opportunity for someone detail-oriented who takes pride in helping residential and commercial customers recover from property damage caused by fire, water, and smoke.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with rotating on-call schedule after 90 days

Pay: $20.00/hr + additional pay incentives after 90 days (see below)

Location: Portland, OR

What You'll Do

• Clean and deodorize customer contents affected by smoke, contaminated water, dirt, and other residue

• Assist with unpacking and repacking cleaned items into boxes or storage containers

• Maintain accurate inventory of items that have been cleaned or deemed a total loss

• Coordinate repair of furniture, electronics, area rugs, and other damaged items

• Perform biohazard cleanup including fecal matter, blood, and sharps removal when required (additional $5/hr pay when suited up in full PPE)

• Respond to after-hours call-outs as needed ($25 bonus + overtime pay)

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license required

• Prior cleaning experience in the restoration industry preferred

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation

Compensation & Benefits

• $20.00/hr base pay

• Additional $5.00/hr during biohazard cleanup (when in full PPE)
