Clean Room Manufacturing Technician -1st Shift

We provide comprehensive engineering and test capabilities: from in-house and hydrostatic leak-testing of medium and large format vacuum chambers to machining of precision stainless steel mechanisms. We have the capacity to machine components up to 3 meters. Our metal fabrication services include grinding, vacuum welding, heat treating, plating, and anodizing. We can process many advanced materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, ferrous-nonferrous, and other exotic alloys.

Job Purpose and Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.

• Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
• Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
• Able to read and understand the schematic diagrams, blueprints, product manuals, process documents, and gather information regarding its parts, fixtures, tools, etc.
• To set up, arrange, and operate equipment as per the specifications and instructions from the supervisor.
• To assemble parts or components to build a whole new product.
• To contribute in fitting, building, or reconstruction of various parts to ensure smooth process of component amalgamation.
• To perform regular test and inspection procedures to ensure that the product is formed in accordance with the specifications.

Education & Experience

Requires a minimum of 1-2 years related experience of production and technical knowledge. High school diploma and college courses preferred. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load to meet strict deadlines under supervision. Read and understand prints and drawings. This is an ITAR facility and applicants must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

Salary Range (Annual)

$50,960 - $60,320
