Reading and TESOL Specialist

2026-2027

At Daisy Ingraham Elementary School

Reading and TESOL Specialist Grades PreK-5 (full-time)

Primary responsibilities: Primary responsibilities: Working with students one-on-one, small groups, and in ELA classrooms. Also, leads professional development for staff related to reading strategies and implementation of reading resources and curriculum.

The ideal candidate will be willing to become TESOL certified and trained in the instructional coaching model to support grade level classroom teachers in grades PreK-5.

Experience working with students in elementary or middle school is preferred with successful teaching experience in reading.

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Terms of Employment: Salary and benefits in accordance with the Agreement between the Westbrook Board of Education and the Westbrook Education Association.
